 In the incident in which former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot and killed, Mr. Tsuyuki served as the head of the security verification team as deputy director general of the National Police Agency. At the press conference that day, he touched on the large-scale security measures for Mr. Abe's national funeral (national funeral) to be held on September 27, and said, "All the police will work together to take all possible measures."
